Western
Victoria Region is a mixed urban and rural electorate covering an
area of 70,238.5
km². Major urban towns in the region include Geelong,
Victoria’s largest provincial city and Ballarat, Victoria’s largest
inland city. Natural features include the Otway Ranges, the
Grampians, Mt Arapiles, the Little Desert, Loch Ard Gorge and
coastal resorts at Apollo Bay, Barwon Heads, Lorne, Ocean Grove,
Port Fairy and Torquay. Other features include the Daylesford and
Hepburn Springs area with natural springs and health spa resorts,
the Creswick and Wombat state forests, the Dunkeld and Halls Gap
areas of the magnificent Grampians National Park and the Werribee
and Lerderderg Gorges.

Bannockburn, Beaufort, Camperdown, Casterton, Colac, Dimboola,
Edenhope, Hamilton, Heywood, Horsham, Kaniva, Kyneton, Lara,
Maryborough, Melton, Meredith, Mortlake, Nhill, Portland,
Queenscliff, Rainbow, Skipton, Stawell, Terang and
Warrnambool.
